IndieSpace Together - June 17
Join us for our next IndieSpace Together event!
We’ll be together at the West Village Rehearsal Co-Op on Tuesday, June 17, from 1pm – 7:30pm
Come to get some work done or to network and connect with other artists, producers, writers, and collectives.
You’re also invited to be part of the community conversation on the future of our new space in Hell’s Kitchen. We’re excited to host a public conversation with the community about this initiative. If you haven’t yet heard about it, this is a great chance to learn more about where we are in the development process and get to know our building alongside members of our artist committee, who will be there in conversation.
Here’s the flow of the day:
Potluck throughout the day
Everyone is welcome to bring something to eat or drink and share with the community. It’s super casual and always a nice way to connect.
1:00pm – 4:30pm
Coworking session. Folks can drop in, get some work done, hang out, and chat with other artists in a relaxed setting.
4:30pm – 6:00pm
Networking time. A more social window for conversations, connections, and idea sharing. You can connect with other artists, producers, writers, and collectives.
6:00pm – 7:30pm
Community discussion alongside the IndieSpace Artist Committee about the Hell’s Kitchen building, a new coworking, rehearsal, and performance space that IndieSpace is building for the community.
We’ll cover:
Where things stand in the construction process
What we’re thinking in terms of the space model
And open the floor to ideas, suggestions, and dreams from the IndieSpace community
This day is designed to be flexible, welcoming, and centered on the kind of connection that keeps our creative community strong.
Ariel Estrada from Benvenuti Arts will attend and answer questions on funding opportunities in NYC and the Benvenuti Arts Day Camp, which is happening at the West Village Rehearsal Co-Op.
